GIZ’s commitment towards Agenda 2030 and SDGs in N.Macedonia
The implementation of the Agenda 2030 is a high priority for GIZ. At the request of the Government of N. Macedonia GIZ supported the development of the first Voluntary National Report (VNR). To support further efforts of the government in this direction GIZ initiated the project Regional Learning for the Implementation of the Agenda 2030 in South East Europe (particularly North Macedonia and Kosovo), implemented during 2021-2022. In particular municipalities were offered with a toolbox on the basis of the Handbook “Agenda 2030 in my Municipality”. Series of workshops were conducted to enable municipalities to identify priority SDGs in their local communities.
In cooperation with the CSO Konekt, we initiated partnership based projects between CSOs and the private sector. For more information visit the sections “Stories and Resources”.
